Address: Woodland Trail, Chatham, Illinois.
This is the place to go to see deer. I have seen close to sixty deer at a time in the vicinity of this area. There are no real hiking trails, per say, but there is a small playground at the back of the lane. There is no real address, as the road is a dead end. I recommend going off on the side road to the south of the main Woodland Trail, aka Wildlife Road, as this has generally had the best luck in my experience. It's not an African safari, but it's about as close as Illinois gets. When are the bison coming back, anyway?
Attractions: DEER. Oh, and turkeys occasionally.
Cautions: DEER CROSSING! Do not go down this road quickly or in conditions of poor visibility.
